Raktim Chakraborty is currently a State Aided College Teacher at the Department of Computer Science, Surendranath College, Kolkata. He did his B.Tech from the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (formerly known as WBUT) in 2015 and M.Tech. from the University of Kalyani, Kalyani, West Bengal, in 2017, both in Computer Science and Engineering. He obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Kalyani in 2026. His current research area includes FPGA, Digital Logic & Circuit Design, Nano-Scaled Semiconductor Device Modelling & Simulation, Steganography, Data Mining, and Soft & Evolutionary Computing.

Vedic Astrology (Jyotish), mythology, and ancient Indian texts are among his interests outside of teaching.
